Raul Garza

Biography

​

Raul was raised in Pharr, Texas.  He graduated from the University of Texas-Pan American with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, TX.  While at St. Mary’s, Raul completed three separate clinical programs working on criminal, family, and consumer law matters.

 

Raul previously worked as corporate counsel for a large Texas Corporation handling legal matters related to manufacturing and employment in the U.S. and Mexico.  Raul also worked on acquisition contracts with the U.S. Department of Defense and managed a global trademark portfolio. 

 

Raul’s focus is now on insurance defense litigation. Prior to joining Goldman & Peterson, PLLC, he worked as a defense attorney with another insurance defense firm in San Antonio, Texas.

 

In his free time, Raul enjoys live music and spending time with friends and family.
